At IWAN, we believe that lasting change happens when communities, partners, and advocates come together. Whether you are an individual, organization, or donor, there are many ways to stand with us in advancing gender equality and empowering women and girls across Kenya.
Measuring Our Impact IWAN uses both quantitative data (numbers trained, groups formed, campaigns held) and qualitative stories (testimonials, case studies) to demonstrate progress. This dual approach ensures transparency and accountability while showing the human side of change.
Our goal is to expand outreach to 10 additional counties by 2027, train 1,000 more women leaders, and strengthen national advocacy for gender equality. With continued support, IWAN will amplify its impact and ensure lasting transformation for women and girls across Kenya.

Joining a savings group helped me start a small business. Now I can support my children’s education and inspire other women to pursue financial independence

Through IWAN’s mentorship program, I gained the confidence to run for a county leadership position. Today, I represent women in my community and advocate for their rights.
We empower women across Kenya through targeted programs that build confidence, grow skills, and open pathways to economic independence.
